Okay, I've called up the Citibank rep. who was recommended to me by the MDIS rep. I'm going to do a breakdown of the pros, cons, and considerations below, so it might get a bit dry for others.

(Citibank = a bank [like duh]; SIM = Singapore Institute of Management; MDIS = Management Development Institute of Singapore; OCU = Oklahoma City University)

Citibank: interest rate = 6%/annum; maximum time allowed for payment = 5 years; interest calculated by decreasing balance; must be 21 years and above and having more than SGD$ 1,000 income to apply; applicant can borrow up to 6 times their income.

SIM: Letter still has NOT arrived!; applied for BA in Communication Studies and English Language; with advanced standing I'll take around 2 years to finish the course; full-time study of 2 days each week; local degree; estimated course fees for 2 years = SGD$ 20,000 (exclusive of lecture notes, exam costs, and books?); course starts in August, I think; total modules estimation of around 18 to 20?.

OCU through MDIS: A total of SGD$ 26,000 for 2 years, estimation, inclusive of the $4,000 for last month of study over at OCU itself; direct honors = BA of Arts in Mass Communication; intensive nine lectures for each module, each lecture lasting around 3 1/2 hours, tutorials, and project work; total of 8 modules taken over 2 years.

Talked a bit with my sibling's tutor, who has a Masters degree. He gave me some points to consider:
1. OCU's is a direct Honors, which makes a very big difference with that of a normal BA;
2. OCU gives the chance of going overseas to study for a month;
3. Companies (in Singapore? globally?) don't (usually?) look at which university one's degree comes from, and treats each person on a case-by-case basis.

Comments? Suggestions?

Also, can anyone confirm with me if the USA's equivalent of "BA of Arts in (something)" is equal to the English's "BA (Hons.)"? Thanks.
