Just watched one of the VCDs I bought yesterday--Justice League of America: Starcrossed.

:( I feel so sad for Hawkgirl (Shayera Hol). Torn between duty the the Thanagarians, her people, and earth, her adopted homeworld; torn between being a spy, and telling no lies. Poor GL, poor Shay.

What amused me at one part was when the JLA was hiding out in a clothing store, from the Thanagarian armada. J'onn suggested that the Thanagarians were looking for the Leaguers, not civilians, and he instantly shape-shifted. Flash was protesting, saying something like, "Hey, not like I don't trust y'all, but isn't this thing about secret identities?"

And then Batman thrust a finger into Flash's face. "Wally West." Points at Superman. "Clark Kent." Points at Green Lantern. "John Steward." Then, pulls his own cowl off and says, "Bruce Wayne."

Since Bruce Wayne is one of USA's wealthiest indultrailist, and the World's Greatest Detective as Batman, Wally kinda snorted and went, "Show off."

I like the fact that Wonder Woman (Diana) ruffled Wally's hair and went, "Red. Suits you."

*grins*

Still, wanna mope. Feel so sorry that Shay resigned from the JLA. I don't like Hawkgirl all that much, but she's a cool person. Don't want her to leave...
