Okay. I am officially hooked to Tamora Pierce's books, especially the quartets: The Circle of Magic; The Circle Opens; and the Immortals. Her other books like 'The Song of the Lioness' quartet, and 'The Protector of the Small' quartet are good reads too.

After reading 'Shatterglass,' the last book in The Circle Opens quartet, I was filled with a fresh burst of inspiration to write, and to check out her website. I'm really impressed by the freshness of her ideas as well as the way she creates real cultures that have both beautiful and ugly sides.

Here are a list of authors I like, whose works you might try reading:

1. John Ronald Reuel Tolkien
2. Tamora Pierce
3. Ursula Le Guin
4. Meredith Ann Pierce
5. Terry Brooks (but his ideas get a bit stale after a while)
6. Dean Koontz (warning: his works will horrify you)
7. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes

Try them. They're awesome writers!

I'm trying to look for a book by the Dalai Lama now. It's titled "Advice on Dying, and living a better life."

If anyone has the English version, please tell me. Thanks.
